I'm not nannying Supernatural talk out of natter, but if you have no concerns with getting spoiled for any of the shows discussed therein, don't feel there's a barrier to going in and discussing the sff shows you are up to date in.
Natter 39 and Holding
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
My kids are enthralled by the rolling R.
I finally watched Kitchen Confidential, episodes 1.1 and 1.2, last night. I enjoyed it way more than I'd let myself hope I would. I wish the actor who played Jack's live-in girlfriend/boss @ bad Italian joint (is that Andrea Parker?) was playing Pino's daughter. I assume Pino's daughter is going to be a love interest or at least a featured character, and I think [The Is-She-Andrea-Parker actor] would be more interesting in the role.
John F. Daley is Jim (the sweet Utah boy who says "Jiminy") in this! He's the little brother Sam, from Freaks and Geeks! I nearly squeed when I realized it was him, all grown up. Such a cutie patootie.
I'm not sure if Nick Brendon seemed like he is still trying to find his footing, or if it is just that I'm still looking for Xander (more likely, frankly). It was great to see him though, and he looks healthy.
This is definitely going to be a season's pass. I hope it makes it. BC is, as ever, adorable.
Well, drat. I missed Kitchen Confidential last night, due to an odd Law & Order fixation. (Not odd as in what an odd show to like, but odd as in the show's been on for 15 years or thereabouts and I just got hooked about a month ago.) Oh well. There's a decent chance Amyth has it on tape.
And here I am in a part of the world where the only spoilers I know concern "Neighbours." I feel like I'm in the alley with the rest of the crack dealers, only instead of crack, I've got Pat Boone records.
Oh, I forgot to tape KC. Next week.
Bradley Cooper has a marvellous voice. And he plays genial very well. His smile creeps into an already pretty voice.

Although do any snakes nest in trees?
I know snakes climb trees, especially those that actively hunt, so it seems probable that they might nest up there. Maybe they build nests next to the drop bears.

If you had Pat Boone records, you only have yourself to blame for being forced into an alley.

Hee. There are tree-dwelling snakes, my favourites being the green tree python and emerald tree boa; and, above the both of them, the boomslang. Say it with me: the boomslang. Oh, the green mamba too, but frankly, for me it's the boomslang.
