HaHa! What did you do to the Tech people to make them hate you so much?
Dunno, but I am beginning to suspect that they have a pool going as to who can make me cry first.
'War Stories'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Obviously, you must turn the tables and try to make them cry. Start by baking something really yummy, put it out on your desk next to the computer, and then call them up to look at something. Let them sit there and smell the yummy baked goods, but do not let them have any. Tell them it is for your "friends here."
how come when I order groceries there is always one thing we are almost out of that I should have noticed? it happens when I pick things up - but somehow that is different...

Sadly, the real problem people seem to be in NY, so I am not sure the baked good scheme would work. I'd be willing to try though.
my cat is very insulted. I had to change the bed - so I ever so nicely removed him so he wouldn't be disturbed. so he promptly hopped back up on the bed. and he got caught under every layer being put on the bed . Now he is clinging to the bed for dear life and giving me the evil look - because I might disturb him again
Poor Percy-cat! I'ma come steal him.

I saw plenty to like before, but the hidden, roiling darkness is quite compelling, I agree.
And it's a lot of darkness in that teeny package. I'm learning that smaller = the eviler. See also: Kristin T.
Being teeny means the roiling darkness builds up to a higher pressure faster, and it needs an outlet. Today, Perkins' co-workers, tomorrow the world.
