Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Jessica causes the baby Men Without Hats to cry....

Fortunately, they may be comforted with dwarves to stand in front of.

Owwwie, Mg! Hope things improve with the dog and cat.

It's my day off...only, it's not. I agreed to start coming into work on Thursdays for a few hours. I'm hoping this isn't a mistake. I told them I'd have to consider it on a weekly basis, so I think it will be ok, 'cause I can veto it if necessary. But, it means I'm not going to have as much time to do the things I plan to do on my Thursdays. Oh, well.

I am excited, though, because I get to make my menu/grocery list and go shopping today for my Saturday Afternoon Tea with the girls. Should be much fun ('cept for the cleaning part).

So, no cancer for my mother. La maladie des griffes de chat instead, which is unfortunate and awkward (particularly since her biopsy site is inflamed), but no cancer. Yay!

Sorry for posting and then disappearing. The vicadin kicked in and I needed to try to sleep. I had to sleep sitting up since the cat ripped the ear on the side I normally sleep on. Sleeping on the other side was not an option as I (tmi alert) didn't want blood draining into my ear canal.

I'm at work. Luckily I mouse with my left at work as I can't grip anything with my right hand. Couldn't even turn on the engine with my right hand this morning.

So, to explain. Tuesday night we got a dog from a friend of DH's. Cody is 2.5 years old and was an abused puppy. He is part Australian Shepard, part Collie, weighs about 30 pounds and has bright blue eyes. He is a sweet dog, though a bit skiddish.

Miss Kitty is not too sure about dogs. Her only other experience has been with a dog who was very aggressive. Cody has been curious about her, but not pushy about it.

Last night the cat wanted out, but was scared to go near the door even though the dog was not in the room. I walked over to her, intending to just open the door and then shoo her out. All I remember happening from there is that she walked toward me, so I picked her up out of habit. Apparently behind me, Cody had reentered the room and the cat freaked. She bit my hand and then climbed up and over my head, biting and scratching as she went.

Lovely, eh? Why I picked her up without making sure the dog was secure somewhere else is beyond me. It is all my fault, but still...owie.
