Mal: We're still flying. Simon: That's not much. Mal: It's enough.

'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{{Cindy & Ben}}} The only serious allowed is vw's aforementioned serious break.

What is even happening?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What ChiKat said. Not-serious vibes to you, Cindy.

I know it's not actually good for him, for me to do his homework

One time ain't gonna hurt him. A few times won't hurt him.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Cindy, may it be something small.

Susan, may Big Name Writer be spellbound and fling praise and editors in your direction.

Maria, may homicidal giraffes track down and eat that rat-ass motherfucker.

There was more. I'm sure of it, but I'm overwhelmed by the smell of gingerbread coming from the other room.

I'm getting the pig!

and then a huge ration of blood tests

This. Blech. I can do ultrasounds and xrays just fine. A huge ration of blood tests would be a totally different story. People think it's odd when I say I donate platelets since I'm a big baby when it comes to needles but I can hand-wave the needle part with the whole helping others part. Not so much when it's just my own health I'm dealing with.

From the sound of things though, I'm sure he's quite the mature nine year old and handled it with ease. What a trooper.

I know it's not actually good for him, for me to do his homework

What a cool mom! Seriously! And I'll also echo what ChiKat said. Once, twice, three times won't hurt him. Now, if you're still doing it when he's in college, then it's an issue.

Hey. New board.

Oh, Cindy, I do hope it's nothing serious.

Thank you, everyone. I didn't mean to dead the thread.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

No deading Cindy...my thoughts are with you and Ben too. I didn't realize our boys were the same age. I've been through the medical wringer with both of my kids, and that waiting period is the worst part of it. I'm sure you will get good news soon.
