Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hivemom question: how long after the rice cereal introduction can we start on foods that taste good?

Coding and Sleeping

I think we did about a month on rice cereal, but the kids really liked rice cereal for some reason.

We moved pretty quickly into smooshed carrots and such (two weeks after rice cereal?), but Emmett started solids much earlier than most kids.

Always Anti-fascist!

Maria, you know that I probably have some of the world's finest "catch the braindead-ma" around. Rule 5-ma for the police. "It's good to be good. It's better to be lucky." Maybe he/they will do something dumb and get caught easily because they annoyed their baby's mama or something. If you are going to have a life of crime, it pays to part amicably from your exes.

Because books.

You just want to wait long enough before introducing other foods that you know she's not allergic to the previous one. If she's tolerating the rice cereal pretty well, you can try something else.

I'd say start with veg, though, because sometimes they get into the sweet fruit a little too happily.

You can also add a little strained veg/fruit to her cereal.

Ahhh, the magic of pureed pears...

Librarian Warlord

He had to learn to gorge and store since she don't feed kids.

I used to date a guy in college whose step-mother locked up all the food. He had issues.

Hurrah for "mama"! Where's the princess pumpkin? (sniff!)

The hygentist couldn't find anything wrong with my teeth or gums so she criticised my choice of floss. I would think at that point, she could have just told me "good job" rather than having to find something wrong.
