That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy Birthday, Cashmere!!!!!!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

he called the office, found out that his second-in-command thinks it's wonderful and that it's also 35 pages, and decided I didn't need to read it to him. I had to make a few minor edits and it's all done.

Yay!

Now I'm plotting for a nap.

Good news Susan. Glad Annabel is doing fine.

I remember after CJ had his spinal surgery, we were so cautious about every little thing that seemed out of normal. Even though he was our second child, the 6 year age gap had dulled some of our memoried of what was normal.

Happy Birthday Matt!!!

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around dealing with another month without my assistant. Somehow this time is harder than the previous 6 months. I had so much pinned on "she will be back in October". Gah.

Hey. New board.

Dude. Peanut butter and applesauce sandwiches are GOOD.

Also, I just sold my desktop computer. I miss him already, but the $1500 in cash I got for him is a very reasonable trade.

ETA: Oh! And I'm so glad Annabel is doing well.

Susan, that's a good response from the doctor. Have you thought about your plan of action if you get Annabel tested and she's fine? (I assume you've thought about the alternative.)

Wish me luck - we are doing our first day-long roadtrip tomorrow in Greece and with baby. We've done a 6-hour jaunt, but this will be closer to 10.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Have you thought about your plan of action if you get Annabel tested and she's fine? (I assume you've thought about the alternative.)

Pretty much keep doing what I've been doing the past few days--keep interacting with Annabel, concentrating on talking to her, labeling things for her, and trying to hint at ways she could talk to us.

Not that I wasn't doing that stuff before the past few days, but now I'm being a lot more mindful about it. Also, between my busyness with the conference and all of Dylan's staying late at work over the reaccreditation, we've probably been less involved with her in the last month than normal. So I'm trying to make up for it a bit.
