My downstairs neighbor's sewing machine is currently living on our kitchen table, so I could actually do a blanket exchange.
I'm feeling all crafty -- among the ancient car and boating magazines up at Lake Tahoe was a Martha Stewart Baby magazine, and even though I dislike her on principle, damn, her magazines are great. I kept flipping on through, page after page, going, "Hey! I could do that! No, seriously! This is all stuff I already know how to do! The organization level's a little scary, but actually no new or scary or absurd skills required!"
BTW, Maidengurl, despite the word "baby" in the above paragraph, I'm also Not It.
But, how do you feel about parachuting in an adult-diaper, JZ?
I skipped like crazy. Brackets to all, I hope not too many need them but I am feeling brackety.

A Minkee is a blanket with really soft fabric on one side and a cotton or flannel on the other, like this: [link] They're often made for babies, but our quilt shop has kits for adults too, as they are soft and wonderful.
