One of the groomsmen booked a national commercial set to air at Christmas. THe original filming date was this past Friday, today and tomorrow. The producer and director notified Groomsman that the filming date might be moved to the weekend of the wedding. For those not involved in the industry, national commercials usually pay $20,000 plus other stuff and can pay up to $35,000. B & G FREAKED OUT. I get it, it's kinda close to have that happen. I get the freaking out. What appalled me was B basically saying that if the dates didn't get changed and he didn't drop the commercial, he was making a statement about how he felt about their friendship.

Any, and I mean ANY friend of mine that asked to be in their wedding had better understand if something that big for my career came up at the last minute and it was in my family's best interest to do it, that I would and would be rightoeously pissed off they took at some statement of our friendship. The fact that she took it as that right off, and G did too, says something they wouldn't like to hear about, me thinks.

B asked me if I was panicing the week before our wedding because of this stuff (she's also freaked out cause her SiL messed up dyeing her hair at home and it's purple.). I told her no, I was too bust visiting my grandfather in the hospital as he was in a COMA!!!!

The thing that appaled me was when B said, basically, "Now that we know that he'll drop the commercial, if it actually comes up again we'll probably let him off the hook, but we had to know he was a real friend and understood how important this day is to us."
