Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

vw recently bought a text book on e-Bay, Hil. It was a little bait-and-switchy, though. The cover pictured on e-Bay was the same as the edition the class was supposed to buy. When the book arrived, it was a foreign (UK, maybe?) edition, I think--at any rate, it was somewhat different.

vw, what happened with that, anyhow? Was the substance of the text the same? Also and completely unrelated, did Emily get a pillow?

A few of my students bought grey-market calculus books from India to save money. I'm not sure exactly how they bought them, though.

Probably through half.com. I know Emily got one this way.

I got my Biology textbook on ebay for $74, as opposed to the $130 it was in the bookstore. You can get a lot of textbooks on Amazon as well, which helps.

Thanks, Raq!

Turned out I did get the US edition, so it was all okey dokey.

Emily did not get a pillow. I may run to LnT today and try there. We weren't thrilled with the selection and BB&B.

I'm pretty sure the one I got at Linens -n- Things (the lnt link in that email) is the same one a few Bitches have.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Sumi - I probably could, but I will have to take the class eventually, so I might as well hold on to it.

OK, total change of topic. A ways back folks were posting shoe-porn and I missed out on asking for pointers to cool silver strappy shoes. Anyone have anything???

Yeah. And I think that's what she really wants. So, I'll probably head out and get it for her when I run my errands today.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yay, VW!

I still have most of my textbooks. I considered getting my copy of Critical Reasoning: [link] autographed, but that's because one of the writers was a prof I adored rather than because of the book itself.

I have dried apple. Now I just need to dry some other fruits, put them all in brandy for a bit, and then put them into fruitcake. Yay!
