Man, you just get darker and darker, and the weird thing is, your aura? Beige.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Neither do I. Which means Annabel will probably be effortlessly popular and happily conformist, and will rebel against us by joining the Young Republicans.

We keep saying this about Mallory too...although he'll probably just rebel be being apolitical or apathetic, and a jock.

and get an idea of where my back is.

Hopefully it's still in the same place, otherwise your clothes are going to hang funny.

I think the DH has used all my Ambien, of which I took exactly none. So tomorrow is me trying to figure out what it's called here to buy some more. Right now, it's bedtime. G'night Bitches!

Hivemind cookery question:

I want to make blackberry jam. Should running the jars and lids through a dishwasher cycle be as effective for sterilizing them as my old technique of pouring boiling water from the electric kettle over them?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hopefully it's still in the same place, otherwise your clothes are going to hang funny.
Apparently my brain off drugs, not much clearer... D'oh!

I shall not get my brows waxed today, they are closed.

I don't know nothing about sterilizing jars for making jam, sorry Susan.

Dear, if you run the lids through the dishwasher they won't seal properly.

The National Center for Home Food Preservation says no:

Before every use, wash empty jars in hot water with detergent and rinse well by hand, or wash in a dishwasher. Unrinsed detergents may cause unnatural flavors and colors. These washing methods do not sterilize jars.

You still need to boil them after washing.

Dammit. Sterilizing is more work than making the actual jam. If I hadn't already promised several people jam in return for various favors, I'd be tempted to forget about it this year.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Should I go buy a $1000 camera that is on sale for $800? It would mean that I could take my own show photos and keep my portfolio up to date, but that's a lot of money.

Yes, but think of the high quality porn you could shoot with a camera like that!

Heh. I've done a number of shows that had nudity in them, but I don't think they qualify as porn.
