Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I got a small box of stuff that was my grandma's today. There was a gorgeous heart-shaped Wedgewood bowl, a Disney bracelet, a lace handkerchief, and a letter that I wrote to her when I was 6. It was nice to get it all.

I missed -t again! Bummer.

Gloomcookie, that sounds lovely. I'm glad you got those few pieces to help you remember her.

More Anne {{{{}}}}s.

Why, oh why am I up at 4am? This does not bode well for the day.

Gloomcookie, that's so sweet!

I'm waiting for the baby to fall asleep, and he's apparently waiting for hell to freeze over.

That seems to have worked, vw! You're hired!

Now I'm going to get a quick nap myself, as it's a busy afternoon: grocery store to stock up for the weekend, then the babysitter gets here at 5:00. Robert scored us VIP tickets to the Titanic exhibit, so we'll go see that, and then we are meeting a friend from Moldova for dinner.

Should be fun for us, but poor Mallory has decided he hates the babysitter, so I don't envy him or her.

When my grandmother died I got, among other things, a packet of all the letters I ever wrote her.

Plei, when you look at daycares I'd ask them about scheduled feedings and how comfortable they are with expressed breastmilk. I think they should be able to manage. I would recommend sending many small bottles - as little as 2oz each - so you don't have waste. The book "Nursing Mother Working Mother" has a lot of good advice. Be prepared for Lily's feeding habits to be different with someone else than they are with you, or to change when she goes into care. Eve never drank more than 12oz of expressed milk in an 8-9 hour day, but then, she was nursing all night long.

Hope you have a fun evening, Raq! Glad my demand on little Mal worked :).

Poor Maidengurl. No one should have to be up at that ungodly hour. And then to work? Craziness! I mean, I know why you do it, but I certainly don't envy you.

I just paged my therapist to help decide what I'm going to do today. I hate this.

If you were four-years-old, would you think this was a cool prezzie from your Auntie Val? [link] and [link]

Because books.

Timelies, everyone.

If you were four-years-old, would you think this was a cool prezzie from your Auntie Val?

Oh yeah. I got one for my niece a few years ago, and she loved it.

Not getting sick ~ma to Susan.
