waves hi to Sean
Hope you're doing okay.
Pretty good, considering. She had a fairly easy passing, from what we can tell. She'd been failing for a bit, improving enough to be taken out for breakfast a few times before the end (yes, this probably hastened things, but better to have a few weeks less and have enjoyed champagne and Belgian waffles than to live for a few weeks more eating the stuff the convalescent home calls "food"). Then, she just kept getting more and more tired, then slipped into a coma and died.
This weekend, I'll probably dig out my copy of "My Father's Dragon"--the book she used to read to me, complete with funny voices--read, and bawl my eyes out.
I have no idea how much the girl eats. This may present a problem when I go back to work outside the house, because it's really hard to translate "until it's dribbling out her mouth because there's no room in her stomach" into ounces of EBM.
Hmm. Do most daycares do a scheduled thing? This could be awkward with an on-demand eater.
So, may I ask a favor?
I'm still beavering away at the Gothic Charm School Supplies store and it's getting time to think about the t-shirts. What do you think are the first four designs I should kick off with, taking from either what you see in various places
around the store
or phrases that you remember from the old articles, or things that remind you of Jilli?
I know, kind of open-ended but I feel kind of spoilt for choice and want to narrow my options down a bit. If you can help, thanks for your time.
eta: We'll be putting the designs on a variety of men's & women's tees and a baby tee and creeper.
So, Miss Plei, do you think any of these designs should come with slogans? Probably on the back.
eta: Oooh! Happy happy 7000 sluttage!
Plei, I think in theory you just pump what you can when she normally would eat and that gets you what she needs. I have no idea how they handle the on-demand thing.

Just the Jilli and the plain swirly bat.

Hmm. I should chart when she eats. I mean, it's roughly every three hours, but tends to have clusters. I need to start building a freezer stash soon, which I can probably do by daily pumping in the mornings.
Btw, there's going to be a 'snarkling' mug, so there'll probably something like that on a tee too.
