Gris, I can recommend a couple of books for you and have a ton of resources at home. I'd be more than happy to give you the benefit of my conversion experience. I mostly know about Conservative and Reform practices because those are the communities I'm active in, but my husband got to be pretty friendly with an Orthodox rabbi while going to daily minyans. It may not be typical, but he was pleased that I was converting at all and that we were going to shul and all that regardless of what synagogue we belonged to. The internet tends to be full of more extreme beliefs/opinions than the population as a whole, I think.

Ellie just woke up. There is a 8 inch wet spot on the bed, but it is from her head. I guess she needs a lighter sleeper. Oops.

I'm bummed too that I missed -t. Must get something in the mail to her. I have it almost ready, just haven't managed to finish it up and get to the post office.

I am trying to decide what to do today. I feel crappy, but am hopeful I can turn that around. I may page my therapist here in the near future to see if we can make a plan. I have a doctor's appointment at 9am. I'm just going in to get my second HepB shot from the NP, so I will try to shower before hand, but not beat myself up too badly if I don't.

I don't want to leave the house. I don't want to go to the doctor's appointment. I'm tempted to take a cab, but that would just be a waste of money. I think it's time to page my therapist. May be even time to page the shrink.
