Numero Cinco ,'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

That's a fabulous ensemble, ita. The dress--the way it shades, not the construction, reminds me of that shaded grey suit Rachel wore in Blade Runner.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That dress is going to look fabulous on you, ita.

{{{Sail}}} I hope the itchiness goes away soon.

What is even happening?

I may restrict jewelry to a small silver and onyx bracelet -- I'm not sure yet.
Oh, yeah. Pretty pretty pretty. I hope you have some pictures taken.

And share them.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Wowza, ita! What size are the shoes? If you don't think you'll wear them again, I'd buy them from you.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They're nine, Aimée -- will that work for you?

I love the dress -- I was grateful for the slimmest of excuses to buy it. My wardrobe is very geometric, and lacking in pretty (although I like pretty -- it just never showed up). That dress is both geometric and pretty (you should see the silk move).

The shoes -- well, if I'm going to integrate delicate shoes into my wardrobe, I need baby steps.

If I only had a brain...

I think I want this in vintage rose.

Nice, Betsy.

This [link] is what I'm wearing to my upcoming weddings. [ETA except without the freaky hair and facial expression.] Both are afternoonish ceremonies with dinner reception. I'm trying to figure out options for a wrap or coat of some sort - it's supposed to be about 50 this weekend, and god knows what it'll be like on the 29th. Ideas? Shoes for the first one at least will be strappy black sandals, a lot higher (and less delicate) than ita's.
