Emergen-C! Saviour of actors! Blessed fizzy drink that makes us feel better! All hail the Emergen-C!
So... just a little addictive?
Steph, I've used the Airborne but started using it after I was already sick and didn't notice that it helped much. /no help at all.
Happy Anniversary to Tom & Nora!!
Continuing to get better~ma for Maidengurl's mom.
Has anyone taken Airborne fizzy tablets to ward off an incipent cold? And did it work?
My mom loves this stuff, although she admits it probably doesn't actually make a difference.
Maidengurl, sending more health ~ma towards your mom.
Hey, don't underestimate the placebo effect. I believe in the placebo effect. I believe in it so strongly that I am now taking Wint O Green LifeSavers to combat my anxiety, and they are working.
Happy Anniversary, Nora & Tom!!!
Ellie is so cute! I love her big, curious eyes.

Nonononononono. Nope. Not at all. Nope.
hides stash of Raspberry, Citrus, Lite, and Regular Emergen-C in cube
has to find new cube as old one is filled with Emergen-C
Not at all.
Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Things were looking pretty scary there for a while, though until the blood clot is gone, we aren't out of the woods.
I missed Ellie pics? Can someone Nilly?
Lexine, they are here: [link]
Cindy, I love Wint-O-Green. I only buy the little tubes, though, because I eat the others too quickly.
I don't even recall hearing about it.
That's because it got
some
attention. Not front-page attention, or nightly news attention, but a determined search of AP tickers, or belonging to a school board would find it out.
Stephanie - thanks. Am now ded from the cute.

Me too, and for the same reason, although since making them my official placebo of choice, I've had to buy two packs at a time, because my kids think they ought to get one or two. Harumph.
My Nana always had them in her purse, always gave me some (which is *Way* different than my kids thinking they ought to get some--no really, it is), and if she gave you a tissue, it also smelled like Wint O Green.
