Hey, don't underestimate the placebo effect. I believe in the placebo effect. I believe in it so strongly that I am now taking Wint O Green LifeSavers to combat my anxiety, and they are working.
Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy Anniversary, Nora & Tom!!!
Ellie is so cute! I love her big, curious eyes.
So... just a little addictive?
Nonononononono. Nope. Not at all. Nope.
hides stash of Raspberry, Citrus, Lite, and Regular Emergen-C in cube
has to find new cube as old one is filled with Emergen-C
Not at all.
Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Things were looking pretty scary there for a while, though until the blood clot is gone, we aren't out of the woods.
I missed Ellie pics? Can someone Nilly?
Lexine, they are here: [link]
Cindy, I love Wint-O-Green. I only buy the little tubes, though, because I eat the others too quickly.
I don't even recall hearing about it.
That's because it got some attention. Not front-page attention, or nightly news attention, but a determined search of AP tickers, or belonging to a school board would find it out.
Stephanie - thanks. Am now ded from the cute.
Cindy, I love Wint-O-Green. I only buy the little tubes, though, because I eat the others too quickly.Me too, and for the same reason, although since making them my official placebo of choice, I've had to buy two packs at a time, because my kids think they ought to get one or two. Harumph.
My Nana always had them in her purse, always gave me some (which is *Way* different than my kids thinking they ought to get some--no really, it is), and if she gave you a tissue, it also smelled like Wint O Green.
My work life just got 1000 times more annoying.
We have an upgraded virus protection. I've had problems with it blocking emails from several of the people I have to contact because they use web based email and send attachments. I've found a work around for that. However, the upgrade now strips and deletes Excel files. The IT guys say they cant' do anything since the virus protection is run by an outside source. So we have to rename the files as txt files and hope that fools the virus protection into letting them through. I haven't had a chance to test this yet. It's going to get very annoying if we have to do this all the time.
