It's rude, dishonest, and deserving of a slap across the face.
That happens in the common refrigerators in the break lounges where I work. Fortunately, my department has its own little mini-fridge, so my lunches never disappear on me. It really is a nasty trick to play on someone.
IOmemeN, I've called in sick today. I started developing a rash on vacation, I thought it was an allergic reaction to a wool blanket, but it's gotten worse. My face is all puffy and my eyes are only half open from it. I'm waiting for my regular clinic to open so I can make an appointment to see a doctor/nurse practitioner. Bleargh.
Smoke pot. It cures the nausea. May not be the practical solution, but studies say it works.
Tom suggested I do this last night, but I was going to be taking some flexeril and I didn't want to mix.
I have nothing to add about Christianity, Orthodox Judaism, or baby names. They by and large don't affect me. Although I like Olivia quite a lot, Cashmere. And the new Ellie pictures are tres cute.
My back is still hurty but hopefully it will get better. The killer is stting down at work all day. I have to remember to get up and stretch every 20 minutes or so.
Today Tom and I have been married for one year.
Oh Sail, I hope you feel better, and that they help you counter-act this reaction right away? Are you on any newish medications, by any chance?
Cashmere, I love Olivia, and do not think it would be to matchy-poo-poo with Owen. If you were going to name her Owena, I'd say otherwise, or if Owen weren't already Owen, but was in fact Oliver, I'd also say otherwise. I don't think two siblings sharing a first initial is anywhere near the land of too much.
Jess, I totally missed/forgot you ever expressing love for the name Dylan regardless of baby gender. I do actually like it for a girl, while also getting dw & Susan's feelings, too. Scott loved the name Kyle, for a boy. I knew Kyle was/could be a boy's name, but the first Kyle I ever knew was a girl, so it was sort of a no-go for us, and then his brother and sil had a boy seven months before we had Ben, and named him Kyle, so it no longer mattered.
Happy Anniversary McWaringles!!!
Happy Anniversary, Nora and Tom!
Happy Anniversary, Nora & Tom!! It seems like the wedding was just yesterday. Now you guys are homeowners and everything!
I never thought of Kyle as a girl's name. Although, it wasn't until high school that I thought of Ashley as a girl's name. The only Ashleys I new about were a boy in my class and the character from Gone with the Wind.
Happy Anniversary, Nora and Tom!
Cindy, I'm not sure what's causing it. I didn't make any serious changes over vacation. The only thing is, I refilled my prescription for ADs in SF and they substituted a different manufacturer. But, I think the intchies started before that. So, I'm totally at a loss. I thought it was an allergic reaction to a wool blanket, because it's only my neck and face. But, it's even worse today than it was for the past few. I just called the clinic and have a doctor's appointment at 10:15. I'm sure steroids will be prescribed, but not sure what else may be necessary. Maybe I'll finally get some allergy testing done. Who knows. At least it's only the skin reacting and not a full-blown anaphylactic reaction involving the throat and lungs.
This had stopped and I felt confident enough to leave my leftovers from yesterday in there, annoying co worker left two containers of juice. This morning my taco is gone, one container of juice is gone, and the unopened container is almost empty.
You know who sometimes does this? Executives and sales people. Really. I've worked for companies where these people work late at night and somehow come to the conclusion that what is in the refrigerator is theirs for the taking. It's just weird.
I had a boss who stated quite loudly that anything left in the fridge after hours was her for the picking. But then you knew, you know? The guys who go "Hey, I want that pizza!" in the middle of the day, and would never own up to it? Bastards.
