Happy Anniversary, Nora and Tom!
Cindy, I'm not sure what's causing it. I didn't make any serious changes over vacation. The only thing is, I refilled my prescription for ADs in SF and they substituted a different manufacturer. But, I think the intchies started before that. So, I'm totally at a loss. I thought it was an allergic reaction to a wool blanket, because it's only my neck and face. But, it's even worse today than it was for the past few. I just called the clinic and have a doctor's appointment at 10:15. I'm sure steroids will be prescribed, but not sure what else may be necessary. Maybe I'll finally get some allergy testing done. Who knows. At least it's only the skin reacting and not a full-blown anaphylactic reaction involving the throat and lungs.
This had stopped and I felt confident enough to leave my leftovers from yesterday in there, annoying co worker left two containers of juice. This morning my taco is gone, one container of juice is gone, and the unopened container is almost empty.
You know who sometimes does this? Executives and sales people. Really. I've worked for companies where these people work late at night and somehow come to the conclusion that what is in the refrigerator is theirs for the taking. It's just weird.
I had a boss who stated quite loudly that anything left in the fridge after hours was her for the picking. But then you knew, you know? The guys who go "Hey, I want that pizza!" in the middle of the day, and would never own up to it? Bastards.
Sail - I'm so sorry you are feeling itchy.
Fridge raiding in the office is bad. Should be a hanging offense.
Happy Anniversary, Nora and Tom!!!
whee! thank you for anniversary wishes!

Sometimes, they can't figure it out, which is so annoying. Some random thing you encountered (or even the wool blanket) could have caused you to become sensitized, and then stuff that doesn't usually bother you might have started bothering you and kept the reaction going. Something like that happened to my mum. I don't remember what initially bothered her, but whatever it was bothered her at the time of year that her seasonal allergies act up, and it was just too much for her body to process. Soon, EVERYTHING bothered her (like hypo-allergenic moisturizer) until her auto-immune system quieted down, again.
Anyhow, sorry for the ramble. I'm extra rambly today. I hope you feel better, soon.
Poor Sail. NonPuffy-ma.
Happy anniversary you crazy eloping kids! You ran away to happiness! (tm)
or did it rhyme with Banjo?
As in Teppy's world, it does rhyme with banjo.
An alternative would be Inky Lincoln.
Happy Anniversary to the McWaringles!!! I can't believe it's been a year!
Ellie is *so* cute! I love the "Mommmm!!!" photo. And the photos of Jemez make me homesick.
A friend of mine at work used to put anything he put in the office fridge in a white bag marked "lab samples." As he put it, it's all about being a hard target. The food-stealers will grab something else before checking.
I think I may have a mosquito in my room, as I now have seven mosquito bites between elbow and shoulder on the arm that most often faces upward, and I'm pretty sure there were only five yesterday. Grreat.
