so tired. don't know if it is from getting up at 4 am ("there's a 4 o' clock in the morning now?") to catch a plane to Columbus or if it is from 8 hours of babysitting 1 three year old + 1 eleven month old, sans backup.
I swear, I do not know how parents do it. And, they were GOOD (for the most part except for the post dinner, pre-bedtime random fussing)!Though, my general exhaustion kind made me very zen about it. Even all the poop related incidents (and no, I am not just talking about diapers here)
Anyway, hats off again, to those who are raising the kids. Because, hard. Though I assume the intensive immersion training helps some in the long run.
makes note to call doctor about IUD
which reminds me, when trying to insert my Nuva Ring, Erin, the 11-month old was so intrigued as to what was going on there! It made me laff and laff.
Protest it askye. The collection agency doesn't have the records either. They'll drop it.
eta: Giggling at Nora. It is a bit easier getting them as babies and growing into the care stuff. Just dropping into it with a 3yo and 11mo old is tough. When mine were that span I already had a bunch of experience.

askye, that foot ball thing's so ... anticlimactic. It's like having your assish sibling do the whole "I'm not touching you!!" schtick. Except your parents could still bust them.
also, I have eaten little besides Chik-Fil-A's breakfast biscuit & chicken sandwich and Greater's Buckeye ice cream. And 2 beers from a Columbus microbrewery.
Ah, Columbus. Tomorrow: Wendy's and Cracker Barrell. Or whatever. I'm hungry!
I wish I had been more assertive with the drunken fools.
There was one of the cutest toddlers at the game, he had the longest lashes I've ever seen on a baby.
Also there's a family that sits right next to us, and the youngest son just turned 9. He knows so much about football he was impressing everyone. Not just stats, but he knew the different plays and when we were watching the other scores come up and saw USC was behind, he gave reasons why they wouldn't stay behind. The Dad says he watches all the football games, reads books on it, reads magazine articles, and reads the sports section every morning. He also plays baseball and because of his schedule they probably won't be to another game until November.
Do you think these people will believe me if I tell them I changed without my permission and I thought I'd taken care of the matter?
Yes. They just won't care.
Your best bet is to contact MCI and raise hell.

Let me clarify. Pity that NAFDA limits my access to the Firefly thread.
Saw "Corpse Bride" today. Gosh, that movie was wonderful. It felt like a Russian fairy tale or something. You knew someone you liked was going to be greatly disappointed, and I kept trying to think of ways for it to all work out.
Also, another Elfman soundtrack to acquire.
All the previews were for kids movies, and the theatre had lots of kids, but a lot of them were hustled out.
We have a thunderstorm in Seattle right now, complete with lightning and hail.
This same storm made it to the part of Seattle our church is in (5-6 miles south of the house) about 20 minutes after dw posted. MASSIVE lightning strike and crash of thunder that couldn't have been more than a few blocks away, maybe 2 minutes after the pastor pronounced the couple husband and wife. We were all, "Cool! Fireworks!" but agreed it was just as well it hadn't happened at the key moment.
Really nice couple today. The Anti-Bridezilla.
I thought "Corpse Bride" was in fact based on a Russian fairy tale?
It's been thunderstorming a lot here too, and Mal thinks it's great. If babies this age can only remember 3 days, I'm guessing he thinks it's always rained.
