Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

I'm back from Serenity. Ellie slept/nursed quietly in her sling the whole time, although loud noises made her jump. She was so good we may do it again soon.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Ellie slept/nursed quietly in her sling the whole time, although loud noises made her jump.

Oh, hooray!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Ellie!!! I'm glad you were able to enjoy the movie.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Just back from Mirrormask.

It's gooooooooood.

I'm pretty sure it's about two or three times better than Corpse Bride, but will have to watch them both again to make a better determination. And I liked The Corpse Bride.

But this is the movie I think Jilli might be camped out at this fall.

Is muy stylish. Is muy Goth.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, I guess I do have to go down to DC on Sunday, then

Heh. Whereas I went to see Serenity tonight! My friends, who are vague Buffy fans, but had not watched Firefly, enjoyed it. Though one got all mad at me for NOT spoiling her. I was like "HI, I hadn't seen it before, how could I??" They insisted surely I had! Sigh. I had to admit that I am not the Fan they think I am.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was unspoiled prior to seeing Serenity in May and managed to keep my mouth shut around 3.0 for four months. Until after we saw it tonight.

We are now having a glass of wine and deconstructing. Or maybe we're just having a glass of wine. There is wine.

Well, when it ever gets around to showing in Seattle, I'll be there. Multiple times. But so far, I haven't found a theatre around here that is showing Mirrormask. Not that I'm cranky about that or anything, oh no.

Oh Jilli! You must must see it. It's so sumptuous. The evil is so wickedly elegant. They do the Henson thing where the good girl goes Goth.

And there's no designer alive who handles metallic tonalities like Dave McKean.

In other developments, the last half hour before bed tonight Emmett was reciting Doc Holiday's Greatest Scenes from Tombstone. Kid's got good taste.

I have the big art book that I haven't looked at yet, for fear of spoiling the movie.

Yaaay!
