You gonna be at the Bridge, Dawn?
Yup - the main deciding factor was the reserved seating. We saw Batman there and it was great to just walk in and sit down - no lines!
Now all I have to do is figure out how I'm going to get through the day without killing someone. Hummm maybe a long lunch is called for.
I just got our tickets for Serneity tonight. This is a *huge* deal for us because we have never done "baby at a movie" before. I have a whole plan which involves her night time routine as usual until we magically whisk her off to the theater to sleep there for a few hours.
::fingers crossed it will work::
More surgery for Hubby. This, though, will be new for me to deal with. His left shoulder has been fucked up for decades, due to damage caused when he was a firefighter (wild fires, to be precise). He got some x-rays yesterday, the orthopedist looked at them, then picked up the phone and said, "Schedule surgery for Mr Neil at the earliest convenience." Things are separated that shouldn't be, and there's tremendous calcium buildup on the outsides of his blood vessels. They're hoping they can do this by the scope, but they'll add to his scar collection if necessary.
Hubby's left-handed, but he's fairly competent with his right hand. He's promised me he won't have any surgeries that will incapacitate both hands, because, as he said, "You've put up with enough over the years, I'm not going to make you wipe my butt."

Dude -- that's where I saw Batman too. IMAX reserved seating. Also seen RotK there. It's pricey, but you know what you're paying for.

Very much worth it. I'm almost to the point where if it's not showing there in a director's hall, I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD. So spoiled!
Connie, surgery~ma for the DH. Long may the butt-wiping hand live!
Is there a way to find out how many tickets a theater has left short of trying to buy them (or, heaven forbid, calling)?
In other news, I'm at the hotel. My flight landed at about 1:30, but I got here... ere, about now. And I'm supposed to turn right around and go to this Oktoberfest thing.
I keep typing things for Legoland's Fun Express as Fux Express.
Silly. It's "Legoland's Fun Express" and "LEGOLASland's Fux Express."
We're going to try and see Mirrormask tonight.
I just watched the trailer for this today -- it looks gorgeous.
It is not, however, opening in Cincy this weekend. Feh.

Does he have to come off the blood thinners for a while, before they can do the surgery?
