We're going to try and see Mirrormask tonight.
I just watched the trailer for this today -- it looks gorgeous.
It is not, however, opening in Cincy this weekend. Feh.
Jayne ,'Out Of Gas'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hubby's left-handed, but he's fairly competent with his right hand. He's promised me he won't have any surgeries that will incapacitate both hands, because, as he said, "You've put up with enough over the years, I'm not going to make you wipe my butt."Does he have to come off the blood thinners for a while, before they can do the surgery?
MiL has promised to do some babysitting for us. We should probably go see Serenity that way. I also want to see Wallace and Gromit, but I figure we can take Franny to it for sure, and possibly even Isaac because he's such a good, quiet baby.

He's finally off the Warfarin (damned stuff) completely, but they'll tell him to stop the Plavix etc. a couple of days before hand.
Grr. Teacup Guy didn't get the job that I (and some more objective people) thought he was perfect for. I wish I could make other people notice how brilliant he is.

That's great! My father-in-law has a bad rotator cuff, but he can't have the surgery, because between his cardiac history (a gazillio-by-pass and stroke history, he can't risk coming off the Warfarin. Of course, it's likely his stroke was caused (in part) by the pain from his rotator cuff.
but they'll tell him to stop the Plavix etc. a couple of days before hand.
That's good. I hope the surgery and recovery are easy for him.
Connie, much ~ma to your DH on a successful surgery.
Burrell, I hope you get to see Serenity. Speaking of your babies, I don't think I have seen pictures of them in a while.
My mother is babysitting tonight.
This will be the first time both of us have left the house together without the girl.
Pictures, not of Lillian, but of her parents as wee humans: [link]
And one of her father at 20, because the Marcontell Males at a funeral is a pretty funny picture. Hint: Paul's the one in black.
I think I've just tried on everything in my closet, to try to find outfits for Rosh Hashana. (I need two modest dressy synagogue outfits, one modest semi-dressy synagogue outfit, and two family dinner outfits, which can be jeans with a nice shirt.) After trying at least twenty combinations, I think I found everything I need. Though I just realized that one of the skirts has a stain. Might need to switch some things around, again.
