ABC's retread/remake/update of The Night Stalker has a young hip guy as Karl Kolchak.
So wrong. Wronger than wrong. See Andi's COMM a while back about clues, and insert wrongs. That's how wrong.
I'm probably understating its wrongness.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm cringing at the wrong of Kolchak. It's fascinating to watch.

Um, damn, David.

No, you're not. Especially with the fact that they've decided, according to an article I read, to give "Kolchak" a personal stake in his investigations--I wonder if his sister got kidnapped or something--plus a female counterpart so that people can relate to him better.
Please. I had no problem as a teenager relating to the crabby, middle-aged reporter who poked his nose in scary situations every week just for the sake of the truth, no "personal stake" required.
Still at work. Loopy loopy loo. Shutting down though.
Work sucks.

For the last year or so I've been seething that I was dropped in rank thanks to the new overtime laws.
Until the past two weeks, when the fact that I now get paid overtime has saved me from long nights at the office.
I may stay late next week if they'll pay overtime, though.
