Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find Aimee an outfit to wear to a noon outdoor wedding. On a Sunday. At a ranch. In 2 weeks. I prefer skirts and tops/sweaters to dresses, although the right pair of trousers would be fab. I'm still around a 16.
I see a look. It is 'gaucho'. There can be llamas.
How warm will it likely be, Aimee? I mean, is this SoCal or DC or Michigan? (I figure Michigan might be a little chilly, DC could be anywhere from 55 to 85, and Southern California might be expected to be decently warm) (obviously it's not in DC, but you know what i mean)
It's So Cal. Up in the mountains-ish. [link]

LLAMAS!!!
Hmm. 10 day forecast doesn't reach that far, but says Thursday should be 80 degrees. So no worries about warmth then. Um. I have no earthly idea. I have one dress I wear to summer weddings. A nice wrap dress, if you have a non-black one? A cute skirt with a nice top? Noontime wedding doesn't say "superformal" to me...
Also: how cute is this picture? Not as cute as the various buffista babies, but I'm loving it! :)
A's are out
But this was their "rebuilding year," so hey, nice season for them. They're going to be mega-scary next year if Harden heals up and Crosby can play a complete year.
and very oddly, the Giants still have a shot.
That's just wrong. But then, the entire NL West is wrong this year. Worst record for any division winner ever, IIRC, was the 89-73 Red Sox of 1988. The best the Padres can do is 83-79 -- if they win all their remaining games. (In '94 the Rangers were leading the AL West but ten under .500 when the strike began.)
Ichiro was intentionally walked three times tonight. Reed (hitting behind him) went 0-3.
