Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Allyson, I had to ask my parents for money when I was 29 (?) with a law degree hanging on my wall. I was working supposedly high paying temp jobs until library school started. I thought I was doing just fine, but not paying enough attention. I broke my ankle, which meant I couldn't work, and the temp jobs meant no real health insurance, and I found out just fine doesn't always cover what it should.

It happens.

Perkins, YOU ARE NOT YOU KNOW WHAT-ING!!

I walked out of work after I finished teaching this afternoon. I polled the students, and they all assured me they were leaving for the weekend, so I figured why wait around when no one will be asking questions. I should go to the gym, but I'm liking the idea of cooking a real dinner.

I hope the Beast does better, Jilli.

Allyson, it's nice to have you in Bitches. Help yourself to the comfy chair.
