Apparently I want angel hair pasta served with the soup I made the other day as a sauce. For breakfast.
ETA: Cereal, soup, whatever.
'Bushwhacked'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Is it really only 8:30pm? I want it to be bedtime already!
Heh. Er, that is my favorite bedtime!
Meat/spoilage/kill ya thoughts: (whitefonted in deference to vegans and vegetarians who made choice to avoid theses facts for a reason) meat Back In The Day wasn't processed to the extent it is now, what with the antibiotics and potential cannibalism of meat farms, on the scale it is today. Though, you know, commercial animal slaughter was never really a genteel art, as The Jungle was written in 1906.
But, really, we seem to be dealing with a lot of stuff that goes beyond the basics of raise an animal for food, kill and animal for food, sell an animal for food, these days.
I expect that vw’s coworker is genuinely confused, but I’ll mention that these days Psychology is a popular major for students planning on med-school, particularly for women students and those planning to become psychiatrists. There are still prerequisites to take in other departments, but that is also true if you major in Biology or Chemistry. Psychology in a research university is all about brains and genes and cognitive functioning, so it’s a better match to med school than it was thirty years ago.
This I know. Actually, I hope to get my PhD from a medical school. It will still be in psychology, but from the medical school side, which should make it very interesting. Anyways, there were other signs of confusion too, like she wanted to go on to be a school psychiatrist, which what we’re pretty sure she meant was school psychologist, ‘cause she wanted to work with kids with learning disabilities. I don’t want to talk smack about her. She’s very sweet, and I think was just genuinely confused. And, quite frankly, is probably more confused now, poor thing.
It’s my day off. Yay! LOVE days off! Of course, I have a million things to do today, so it’s not like it’s going to be restful or anything.
drive-by to wave and sprinkle glitter around for whoever needs it.
Guest is on plane for Chiang Mai and I'm exhausted but heading out to some cocktail event or other. Baby is happily sliming babysitter's face.
Adelaide is further west than Melbourne, they're essentially both on the south coast. About a 10-hour drive, were one to be driving.
I have friends in Adelaide. Essentially, a bunch of guys from my online rpg guild. So, y'know, more invisible internet friends.
Baby is happily sliming babysitter's face.
Awwwwww...
Timelies, all.
Yay for a great first day, vw. Glad this one seems to be so inline with your plans.
Baby is happily sliming babysitter's face.
Hope the babysitter is equally happy to be gettin' the slimey love.
I've been to Adelaide. It's very pretty. It has a cool trolley and is in the middle of wine country. Someone tries to sell you an opal on practically every street corner.
It was a very long night. The fever got up to 102. There was more thowing up. I only have a small fever now, but I've got a doctor appointment this afternoon. It was probably just some kind of flu, but it was so damn weird. I should eat something, but at the moment I'm suspicious of all food.
Timelies! I'm posting fromJoe's Treo AIFG. We are in western NM w/baby and 2 dogs. So far the trip is going ok - baby is sleeping and dogs are quiet.
Dear Stephanie, in your drive, please detour around coastal Texas. (This advice may be unnecessary - my knowledge of W and S geography is bad.)
