Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

How nerve-wracking! And very dad-like. And good. And sad.

(That was my meara without quotations. Match the sentiments to the paragraph!) Best of vibes for both of you.

In further DOE Website news, I'm totally in favor of these guidelines, but if they're going to require that I read them, perhaps they could make it a TINY BIT EASIER?

What is even happening?

Teppy, your dad is in my prayers.

He got a friend to drive him -- to the far-away hospital (actually, it's only far away from my apartment; it's 5 minutes from my office), and he was vehement that I not cancel my dinner plans for tonight.

This is good. Very good. And he's there ahead of time, you know, being well monitored, and you're not finding out after a sleepless night. Still, I'm sorry it's necessary and sorry that he's at the far away hospital. I will send you e-mail with my phone number, in case you need someone to talk to during his angio, tomorrow.

He will have run off and joined the pirates long before then.

Only if there are fluffy bunny pirates.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Much ~ma of appropriate kinds for Calli, and Teppy's dad.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

He's having more arm-numb issues, and he called his cardiologist, who said she wanted to do an angiogram tomorrow morning to see if there's any blockage, and that since he's got such a bad history of cardiac incidents, she wanted him to go check in now and stay overnight.

I'm glad your dad's getting things checked out (although sorry there are things to be checked). Much calm~ma to you, Steph.

Because books.

Oh, Tep. Vibing for your dad. And for you.

It suggested this in the middle of my filling out the application for preliminary high school licensure.

Emily, that's a little odd. And annoying. It's like, Hey, they *think* they're all focused! Let's fuck with them!

I feel nauseous. I don't know why, though. Strangely, I'm trying to think of what to eat to cure it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I feel nauseous. I don't know why, though. Strangely, I'm trying to think of what to eat to cure it.

Me too. Except I know why - I've had two cups of coffee today, when I very rarely drink coffee.

My solution: McDonnalds hot fudge sundae.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Health-ma to your dad, Steph.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh man, Tep. I'm sorry you're going through this again.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I am so sorry, Steph. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
