What'd you all order a dead guy for?

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I am so sorry, Steph. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

What is even happening?

When I'm broke (and I so am) I can't go looking at pretty things.

Scott made a protest purchase of Circus tickets for the five of us, for next month. I wanted to slap him, because we don't have that kind of money. We have his parents 50th coming up (and I won't bore everyone with my reaction to the fact that the party in a big reception hall, with a DEPOSIT put down, by one or two of the siblings BEFORE broaching the subject with the rest of us). My high school reunion, is the same day as Julia's birthday, which is right after Thanksgiving this year, and a month before Christmas. I have no clothing. My kids need some cool weather clothing (and need to stop ripping the knees out of their jeans), and

oooof.

Shutting up.

Anyhow, pretty boots, Aimee.

The thing I like about internet shopping, is I can put whatever I want in a shopping basket and I don't have to put anything back on the shelf. It's just sits there in my basket, and is, for all intents and purposes, mine. Unitl I clear my cache. That way, I get pretties and I don't spend any money.

I also like it because I can get whatever size I want, cause they all fit. Oh! THat Carolina Herrara dress only comes in a -8? Well, I'll have to have it taken in, but I'll get it anyway. Dum-dee-dee-dee

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Hm. I was looking at my monthly credit union statement and it lists the APR that's being calculated on our mortgage as over a full point higher than our motgage rate - does anyone know if there is a good reason for this before I call my mortgage company tomorrow and sound like a fool?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Our wings are not tired.

Heart~ma to the dad of Teppy.

MIL went through surgery well. She should be in for 3-4 days then she will stay a week or so with her sister the RN. The doctor said the bad stuff seemed contained and he felt he got everything with ease. Of course they will biopsy a bunch of stuff.

I don't think I'll be able to see her tomorrow because she's in Fort Lauderdale and the weather looks like I won't be on the road.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Steph. I'm sorry. Many prayers going out to you and your dad.

Laura, I'm so glad your MIL went through surgery well.

I napped for three hours to get away from the disturbing eating-of-my-dog-and-world's-best-roommate discussion. I feel much more awake now.
