Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I'm filling out paperwork for my new job. Do I need to check that I have a disability? They send you more paperwork that is kept confidential, yada, yada, yada...

Our wings are not tired.

All kinds of healing~ma for your friend Aimee. How tragic. We are so fragile.

What is even happening?

You know, I'd say yes, because if you need them to make a reasonable accomodation for you, you need your disability documented.

Now tagless for your comfort.

vw, what Cindy said. I'd say yes.

Aimee, lots of ~ma and strength to your friend.

I've baked cupcakes and it's just after noon. That's cause for celebration.

What is even happening?

Oh, yes Aimee, many prayers for your friend. Please keep us updated on his condition.

I was *just* talking to a woman at the kids' school, whose husband broke C5. She saw my cervical collar, and then told me about her husband in the course of conversation. Fwiw, he is now fine. Still? It's so scary.

move out and draw fire

Aimee, wow...lots and lots of prayers or healing~ma or whatever you want to call it for your friend.

And, because I am not a saint, a couple small, petty wishes that stuff like that happened instead to people who keep children in cages.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Happy Birthday, Erika!!!

ION, you all want to be me; you just don't know it yet. But I'm going to tell you why: I just made myself the best damn brunch EVAR. Thin crepe-like Swedish pancakes that I rolled into crepes with pumpkin butter and apple cider jelly in the middle. (Not both in one crepe.) Also vegetarian sausage links, because as much as I love sausage, my arteries fear it and I only order it when I go out for brunch.

This is foodgasm territory, people.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Dude, birthdays all over the place this week!

Happy Day, Erika.

Aimee, much ~ma to your friend.

I could easily mainline blackstrap or black treacle. That I have both in the house and have not is proof that I have at least a hint of willpower.

What is even happening?

Plei, is your anniversary, tomorrow? I had the 19th in my head for erika's birthday, and clearly, today is erika's birthday. I'm running out of things that could be on the 19th instead.
