Willow: It feels like we're going around in circles. Xander: Our circles are going around in circles. We got dizzy circles here.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

Aimee, wow...lots and lots of prayers or healing~ma or whatever you want to call it for your friend.

And, because I am not a saint, a couple small, petty wishes that stuff like that happened instead to people who keep children in cages.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Happy Birthday, Erika!!!

ION, you all want to be me; you just don't know it yet. But I'm going to tell you why: I just made myself the best damn brunch EVAR. Thin crepe-like Swedish pancakes that I rolled into crepes with pumpkin butter and apple cider jelly in the middle. (Not both in one crepe.) Also vegetarian sausage links, because as much as I love sausage, my arteries fear it and I only order it when I go out for brunch.

This is foodgasm territory, people.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Dude, birthdays all over the place this week!

Happy Day, Erika.

Aimee, much ~ma to your friend.

I could easily mainline blackstrap or black treacle. That I have both in the house and have not is proof that I have at least a hint of willpower.

What is even happening?

Plei, is your anniversary, tomorrow? I had the 19th in my head for erika's birthday, and clearly, today is erika's birthday. I'm running out of things that could be on the 19th instead.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I think so, Cindy. Because it corresponds with Talk Like a Pirate Day.

DH is ironing his shirts before he leaves for Chicago this afternoon. He's such a better ironer than I am. He learned by doing an internet search for "how to iron" and found a wonderful site created by a cross dressing Englishman. He apparently gives wonderful instructions because Christopher can iron circles around me.

edited:

this is the site. I love the title, "Transforming men into beautiful women." They're not just crossdressing, they're trannies. And very cute.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIKA!!!!!!!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Happy birthday, erika!

The RenFaire was overrun with pirates yesterday. And painfully identical pirates, at that. At the end of the day, my guildmaster muttered to me, "I swear to God, if I see one more Captain Jack Sparrow I'm going to beat his fucking head in."

Also, last night, as we were trudging back to the car, we passed a noble who was camping out overnight heading back into the Faire with his two tiny hoop-skirted and velvet-clad daughters, and as we passed each other the smaller one looked up at Emmett and went all glowy and amazed and smitten and uttered the softest, sweetest "Hiiiiiii..." ever. His teenage years are going to be something to contend with, it is already clear.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thanks for all the well wishes and ma and prayers. He is in good spirits from what I've been told. Joe and I are probably going to go see him sometime today.
