Plei, so did I.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Let me ponder my amazement about how I interview well when I don't give a crap.
That interview Thursday brought me a job offer by 8:30 Friday morning. It's only 28 hours a week, but hey. Better than the nada I get now. I figure corporate real estate contracts will be boring enough that doing chores on the day off will seem like big fun.
I had to take an online Ethics test, which focused on a) Stealing from employers: Is it ever OK? and b) True or false: Giving illegal drugs to your co-workers isn't as bad as selling drugs to them. It was so stoopid that it was actually pretty sad that this was an actual screening tool.
Yay for a job! May it lead to wonderful things and the stupidity of their online testing be no indicator of how great they really are to work for.

Nick invited a friend to spend the weekend. Didn't tell me. His room was a nasty mess and actually smelled bad. Friend spent the night, complained of inability to breathe properly. Nick didn't clean it yesterday, went out yesterday evening. I had been asking him to clean it, told him the smell bothered me, so having his friend complain was the last straw. I went in and cleaned it last night after they went out.
When I went to put his guitar picks, change and ear jewelry found all over the floor into the decorative box on his desk, I found his stash. Also found a gorgeous little porcelain pipe in a Crown Royal bag. I wasn't searching. I find that abhorrent.
He'd told me that he's smoking pot, but not at home, not to excess, and would never bring it in the house. I'm actually pretty casual about the smoking as long as it doesn't interfere with work, life, goals, etc. Don't want it in the house due to legalities, small children, and Greg's completely straight-arrow discomfort.
I was upset that he lied to me, and then more upset when he got angry with me for cleaning his room and finding it, despite expecting him to get angry because I knew he'd be defensive. Today I'm all discombobulated.
...stupid computer...
Ysh. That sucks Deena.
Thanks, Sean.
We'll get over it, always do, just one of those growing things, but sympathy is nice to have.
Good God, Nick, your Mom has the decency to be cool, you should have the decency to hide your damn stash.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PERKINS!!!!
t bad friend alert
Em didn't so well with us gone last night. She didn't sleep or eat really, and is crankified baby. I don't think we're gonna make it tonight.

My computer has been acting pissy lately, including not allowing me to post for several days in a row, so there have been lots of hugs and such going out from here, even if they've been invisible. I'ma repeat {{{Askye}}} though because I hate that kind of crap.
I am finally attempting to dye the slip cover for my big chair. The color remover- said don't use on blue denim -- whoops. It is turning this wierd greeny- blue color. I am going to dye it a dark green - so hopefully this will work - and make the base color even. If not, I willbe forced to buy an new one - which I really needed to do , because it was so oddly faded anyway.
and whap Nick upside the head - he lives in your house. He's too old not to understand the rules. or not know that you clean his room if he doesn't.
