Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

That alphabet evolution page is cool, Daniel ( [link] for people who didn't catch it the first time out)

Here's what I think about taxes:

I think I should get to decide who doesn't pay, who pays a little, who pays a moderate amount, and who pays a (comparatively speaking) lot. And I should get to decide how the money is spent, too.

Barring that, I am with Anne (I think it was Anne) and think that certain luxury items should be highly taxed.

That's about as likely to happen as me getting to decide all the tax particulars, I'm afraid.

I'm not commenting on the tax issue, because right now I basically don't pay taxes. I feel a bit guilty about that, especially since most of my income, food costs, health insurance, etc. is from the government.

vw, you don't need to feel guilty. You're in exactly the position to need it right now and I, for one, am glad my taxes are helping you succeed in your life goals. More power to you for using them the best you are able.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I slept finally and pretty well, but was awakened by my sister calling with big family issues. I'm taking the nephew for the day now. She's kicking her husband out. Siiiiiiigh.

Oh, Cass. I'm sorry for your sister. She and your nephew are lucky to have you. Does this mess up your L.A. plans?

vw, I hope Toto feels better.

I'm actually dragging nephew (thank you Perkins for being so understanding) to LA. He'll meet Buffistas I guess.

And I will either just come back home tonight or grab a low-rent room for the night and catch some sleep. So the plans changed but not a lot.

I wish there were more I could do for the sis though. She's a wreck and this is about all I can do to help her right now.
