Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I just hung a bunch of diapers to dry. I feel so domestic and virtuous.

Of course, the fear the the EVIL was part of a gang is keeping me from my room where my work lives, but still.

I should dress the baby. Even if she is cute as a button in just a fleece diaper cover.

The EVIL things are loners. Your chances of some gang members coming looking for their lost rookie are slim.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I don't have time to really discuss this, but I am not comfortable with the idea of anything being off limits in Bitches. Especially something as something as far reaching as this. However, since I seem to be the only one, I will agree to go along with what everyone else wants.

Personally, I don't mind because I frequent both threads. So I'm fine with a hurricane moratorium over here. But there are some people who really are Bitch-centric and ought to feel like they can go into their regular community thread to talk about it if they need to. I mean, -t is more likely to post here than in Natter.

But I'll keep my NOLA stuff elsewhere.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm not a fan of bans either, sj, but I am feeling the need for a 'cane-free thread after a few too many horrors. Do you object to a bitches' agreement to steer storm-talk one way and non-storm talk the other, without legislating or bureaucratizing things beyond that?

Since there seems to be a general consensus here, then I am fine with it.

My concerns are summed up by Hec though:

I don't want Bitch-centric buffistas to feel shunned from Bitches, especially if they or someone they love is in pain and they need support.

I think a 'cane free zone in here is fine.

I think personal 'cane pain gets a pass, at least in my book. If -t came in here right now, I'd hug her to pieces and offer her all my shoulders. Same with Heather or Dana.

That makes perfect sense. It's the posting of news stories that make me despair for humanity that I'd like to be able to avoid should I want.

Yes, this. I just want someplace where I don't have to skim past quotes from news reports.
