I'll raise you the meds I picked up this evening whose little insert packet danced merrily back and forth between "affect" and "effect" as its verb of choice when describing contraindications and such.

I adore using "effect" as a verb. Properly, of course.

And I'm such a grammar nerd that I can't even understand how "flaunt" and "flout" can be confused for each other. I'm becoming as obsolete as hot metal type.

Flaunt means to show off, and flout means to blatantly ignore rules, conventions, etc.
