I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

Spike ,'Same Time, Same Place'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

How many of you have sung along to Bon Jovi, especially anything from Slippery When Wet? Huh? How many?

ME! And I love it. I came out of my Bon Jovi Love Closet a while ago on B.org. I'm not ashamed of my Bon Jovi love any more.

If I only had a brain...

Ellen is mildly cross at me because I also sang "la la la la, la la la la, William's song" when the time came. Because it is so clearly Ellen's song, not William's song.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Dead or aliiiiiiiiiiive.

Curse you people.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Dead or aliiiiiiiiiiive.

All this earworms me with is the Oingo Boingo song. Which I don't mind so much.

If I only had a brain...

"Eye of the Tiger" is pretty dumb.

Hey, there's a new question: What's the worst James Bond theme song? I'm leaning toward "Octopussy".

The best is obviously "Live and Let Die", with "Goldfinger"a close second.

And, yes, I know about "this wild and crazy world in which we live in", and I DON'T CARE. Because it is art.

What is even happening?

Both of my boys are miffed that I played the Beatles Julia for their sister. Ben didn't mind when she was a baby. I don't own Michael Jackson's Ben, and can't make myself buy a Michael Jackson song for one of my children, because...well, because. I have shown him the lyrics though, and we've heard it on the radio once or twice. There is no Christopher song that we know of, anyhow.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The best is obviously "Live and Let Die", with "Goldfinger"a close second.

Betsy gets a gold star.

The fact that "Live and Let Die" is by Paul McCartney just adds to its appeal.

I don't even recall the Octopussy song. So in my head I'm hearing it as "Goldfinger," with every occurance of "Goldfinger" replaced by "Octopussy."

Because books.

I am totally earwormed with "We built this city..." still. And it's not good.

What's the worst James Bond theme song? I'm leaning toward "Octopussy".

I don't even remember this one. I'm thinking that Madonna song's gotta be right up there, though.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I hated Bon Jovi. I was a Springsteen girl and in Jersey you were one or the other.

These days I think Jon Bon Jovi is a cutie-pie -- but the music still makes me roll my eyes (after an initial nostalgia sigh).

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I don't even recall the Octopussy song.

"All-Time High," by Rita Coolidge.
