Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Big Band Christmas all the way, baby: [link]

We also love the Charlie Brown, Nat King Cole, Elvis, Johnny Cash, and various Nutcracker versions. I love Christmas music.

GC, have you listened to either of the Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas CDs? I caught their Christmas concert on PBS last year, and it was loads of fun to watch, and I have their first holiday CD like I said upthread.

David, I'm always interested in your Halloween mixes! And I've been feeling the need for more eerie dark folky music this past week or so.

It's gotten interesting because there are several music blogs devoted solely to Hallwoeen music, year-round. So just about every vinyl oddity/rarity has been digitized. Unfortunately, that means I have to comb through vast swatches of post-Monster Mash knockoffs and parodies with things like "I Want To Bite Your Hand" done in a faux Bela voice.

And I've been feeling the need for more eerie dark folky music this past week or so.

Yeah, well I've definitely got a bunch of that on hand.

I'd say I would post that stuff tonight but I'm going drinking with Buffistas tonight at Tres Agaves!
