Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Question for the night:

Why is Jimmy Urine so charming?

And we love it when Frank is a little pudgy and biting his lip all concentraty-face and Jamia is grinning at him.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

So GF comes home yesterday and says, "I found the coolest thing for us to do! A Tom Waits bus tour!" She saw it on Pitchfork (which she is on daily). Hee!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Why is Jimmy Urine so charming?

Because he is a Trickster God and we are all under his spell. Seriously, that's the only explanation that makes sense.

That explains quite a bit, Juliana. I'm glad to see we have a working theory for this.

I have never seen an audience be so delighted to be abused.

And what is with the sweat-soaked half-naked fifteen year old boys flinging themselves through the air at me? Dude.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Why is Jimmy Urine so charming?

Like Juliana said, Trickster God.

And we love it when Frank is a little pudgy and biting his lip all concentraty-face and Jamia is grinning at him.

AWWWWWW!

Heh. I love your GF!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey, look! It's the intersection of realms of interest.

Patrick Stump covers Tom Waits' song "Tom Traubert's Blues".

Truth is that they had sound problems for the first five songs or so. All bass and high end, but no mid range. Once the soundman got his shit together, they made a powerful ugly noise, which is, y'know, one of the things you want at your metal show. The highlight was "Naki Kyoku," the superlong song off of Akuma No Uta. I mean, DAMN! it rocked.
