Animal Collective's "For Reverent Green"! It's like, 7 minutes of wacky synths & percussion and random screaming, but fun. I like it.
Brendan James' "Green", which I napped from 2008 SXSW festival site, is very pretty.
Chantal Kreviazuk's "Green Apples". Canadians represent!
Goldfrapp's "Crystalline Green" is fab.
Joni Mitchell, "Little Green" from Blue (two colours for one!)
Leaves That Are Green, Simon & Garfunkel.
I did an omnibus buffista book order on Amazon.ca of Hec's, Knut's and Corwood's books, but Amazon is telling me not to expect them until July 2 at the earliest.
I have
"Green Mind" by Dinosaur Jr.
Also, "Little Girl Blue" by Nina Simone
"Deep Red Bells" by Neko Case
"Deep Red Bells" is such a fabulous song.
I was going to suggest "Little Green," too, but someone beat me to it. I think I'm out of color songs.
"Black Planet" by Sisters of Mercy
"The Edge of the Deep Green Sea" by The Cure
Examples for most of the colors came to me right away, but I was surprised there weren't more obvious green songs (aside from "Bein' Green" that is) given the metaphorical uses of green.
I think I'm out of color songs.
You'd be surprised. I thought of a bunch and then later realized I had forgotten things like "Pretty in Pink" and "Yellow Submarine".
There's always "Knights in White Satin," I suppose.
