Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Examples for most of the colors came to me right away, but I was surprised there weren't more obvious green songs (aside from "Bein' Green" that is) given the metaphorical uses of green.

I think I'm out of color songs.

You'd be surprised. I thought of a bunch and then later realized I had forgotten things like "Pretty in Pink" and "Yellow Submarine".

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

"It's Not Easy Being Green" - Lorne (Andy Hallett)

juliana beat me to "Tall Green Grass." Lots of color references in that one - "Lemon yellow ribbons and bleached blonde hair, blending in the sun 'till you're barely there."

Other random selections from my iTunes: "Purple Pills" - D-12. Heh.

"My Moves are White (White Hot)" - Cobra Starship

"Red Flag" - Billy Talent

"Bowl of Oranges" - Bright Eyes

And for completeness, you could include "A Lack of Color" by Death Cab for Cutie.
