Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

That pun is way older than The 25th Hour. Tom Waits was using it in his live set in the 70s and it wasn't original to him.

Yeah, I associate that pun with Francis Bacon.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yeah, I associate that pun with Francis Bacon.

As do I, but that's probably because of Love is the Devil.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Um, me too. Then I thought of Courney Love's daughter (Frances Bean, right?)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Who will have her revenge on Seattle.

Heh. I did consider that joke. Though maybe Frances Bean is the one who will enact the vengeance.

GF and I saw the Breeders last night. Damn they rock! It was such a great show! As we were leaving it occurred to me that we saw two bands with a twin sister set in a week (Tegan and Sara was last Wednesday). Interesting coincidence.
