Anyone like Sia? I'm totally obsessed with her recent album, Some People Have Real Problems. She's probably most famous for "Breath Me", which I guess was played at the end of the Six Feet Under series finale? Anyway, that's on Colour the Small One, which I just downloaded yesterday, and like OK so far. Also, her cover of "Paranoid Android" (from the Radiohead tribute album) is awesome.

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Those are the two songs I know of hers, tommyrot. Heh. I also have a Zero 7 song she did the vocals for.

I know! It's been funny seeing various blogs do artists' renditions of what it might look like.
Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance to the digital music playing device
Heh.
OK, bandom must be really viral, because I have been off the board for about a week, week and a half because I was doing a show. I was able to go on-line, though, and I have been inhaling Pete Wentz/Patrick Stump fanfiction . And have now decided I want to listen to the music (yes I realize this is backwards.) And now I can!
Also, one of the costumes for the show I just did was inspired by this [link] picture of panic at the disco. I made the jacket and shirt the boy on the far right is wearing. (is he Ryan?)
The one on the far right is in fact Ryan, and that jacket is FANTASTIC.
Yup, the boy on the far right is Ryan.
They were totally baroque circus chic for that tour. I loved it.
Anyway, my current fave Sia song is "Soon We'll Be Found" on Some People Have Real Problems. It's available on iTunes and eMusic.
I read a review of Sia's album on Pitchfork, but I haven't pursued her music. Good to know you like it.
I totally wouldn't have thought that MCR was teen-y music.
It's not, except that Gee is totally invested in Saving Kids' Lives.

Hrm? Weird.
The only Sia song I have is "Rewrite". It's enjoyable, but a little dreamy for my tastes.
