Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The ones I really like are "Baba O'Riley", "Bargain", "Behind Blue Eyes" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." I also like "Gettin' in Tune". Many of the other songs I've only listened to a few times though....

Comparing that to Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy, where I love just about every song....

eta: MBBaB was a collection of singles, right?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yes, it was.

Many of the other songs I've only listened to a few times though....

Well definitely give "Bargain" and "My Wife" another chance.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I'm with Tommy on Who's Next, really. I don't know if Tommy feels the same about Tommy, but Tommy is the Who album that I feel the most Tommy-like about, presuming that "Tommy-like" means "believing the album wraps a few great songs in a lot of filler" in this context, and "Tommy-like," which I haven't used but merely implied, means "Pete's self-indulgence-ometer goes to 11."

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

"Pete's self-indulgence-ometer goes to 11."

I thought that was Psychoderelict.

Yeah, Tommy is pretty filled with filler. But I like it better than Who's Next.

Well, yes. Actually, I think Pete's self-indulgence-ometer hits 11 on pretty much everything he touched after Tommy. Even before, really, considering "A Quick One" and "Rael," but for some reason it worked then.

That's an awesome list. Nice to know that Europe's "The Final Countdown" has not been forgotten, and has gotten the mocking it deserves.

That site crashed Firefox on me though....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

The Final Countdown will always be associated with GOB's magic tricks now. Shocked that Cracked doesn't give it a mention.

"The Final Countdown," like Segways, can only make me think of GOB Bluth.

xpost, but yes indeed.
