My fear of signing up for that filesharing site prevents me from downloading the West/FB mashup - despite my fervent interest in hearing "Sugar, We're Going Down." Could someone who has downloaded possibly send just that track to buffistarawk?
So. I haven't listened to Breakfast of Champions in forever - though it was my normal Friday routine for a long time. This morning I settled in to listen and pulled up Jon's playlist archive to refer to - as is my custom. DUDE. You can click on the bands name now and see exactly what songs he has played on what shows. It is awesome. I am sure this happened several months ago - and perhaps others have even commented - but it's all new, and did I mention *awesome*, to me.
I love it. And I cannot stop clicking on every.single.band.
Also: I really love the new Okkervil River album.

Ha! Er, yes, I totally do love them. I worry that I'm going to look ridiculous when I go to their concerts because I'm older than the band, but so far it's been nothing but amazing fun. They're hitting Chicago again on October 20th and I'll be there with Vans on.
