Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

If I only had a brain...

What an excellent idea. More bands should do that.

for those keeping score. Now at 11.2 days. 20 disks to rip tomorrow, then I am giving it a rest for a while.

You are the Queen of the Task list, that's for sure.

Silence means security silence means approval

I'm closing in on 12,000 and 30 days thanks to another round of ripping.

Y'know that 33 1/3 series of books? Aspiring writers take note:

Hmm. I was actually thinking of writing a blog piece about my strange love for Picaresque, and it could easily be broadened to a 33 1/3 sized book. But I'm not big or famous or have a book to my name.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Why has no one told me this was in the offing?

This Bird Has Flown: A 40th Anniversary Tribute to the Beatles' Rubber Soul

The artist listing is very, very sexy, though it should be noted that the artists listed don't match their songs in every case; read the editorial review to see who really does what. I came across this after I downloaded Ted Leo's "I'm Looking Through You" and Sufjan's "What Goes On" and suspected something was up. Something very, very good. October 25th needs to happen fast.
