Dog is my co-pilot.

Okay my secret dream is that they ask my band to cover that for the last season. They haven't had a garage pop (or whatever we are) version of it yet! It's time, right?!?!

It's definitely time! DH and I are just catching up on The Wire. I can't believe we never saw it until now. Homicide is my all time favorite non-Joss show. And one of the few I have on DVD.

I vote SCS! But I don't have a vote. I've been rewatching The Wire, trolling for Wild Bunch references. I counted 4 in Season 1, all towards the end of the season. Just started S2, and there's one right there in the first episode. And MAN, I'd forgotten how S2 is where they really start to bring the funny, right from the start with Bodie and Lake Wobegon.

Gomez is a fantabulous band for listening to on headphones

Glad you enjoyed them, Sean! I'll email you.

Me either, sadly! and I don't think I know anyone who does have a vote. But I can dream!

That's one of my favorite moments of the whole series ever.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Nobody ever gives love to the bassist. Hee.

No, really, that whole thing's a shame. It sucks how those issues tear bands apart over and over.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

One of the greatest drummers in jazz history, Max Roach, has died.

Did also note that Lee Hazlewood died?

Always Anti-fascist!

Mine too. But it's sad too. Because Bodie's family never took him on a road trip so he could learn that radio stations change when you leave town.

I did note that Hazlewood died, but not here.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That would suck if he died here in the thread.

(Sorry.)
