Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just saw The Simpsons movie a second time. And to think I was earwormed with "Spider Pig" before....

Also, have people seen this trailer for Spider Pig? It's pretty funny. [link]

And I'm going to be incredibly anal and post a link to the correct lyrics to "Spider Pig" [link]

eta: And the "operatic" version of "Spider Pig" is available from iTunes!

The only reason I posted that is the correct version is a little funnier in that last line....

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I only know the Polkaholics.

Still impressed. All three are bands I had hung out with at some point in Chicago. The guys from Ulele went to high school with my bestest friend and two guys from New Rob Robbies worked with my ex hubby. One of those guys used to also be in The Polkaholics.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm late to the Favorite Album Title discussion, but why didn't anyone mention What Were Once Vices Are Now Just Habits? (I've probably got that screwed up in memory.)

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

McLusky's album titles were extraordinary: My Pain and Sadness Are More Sad And Painful Than Yours, McLusky Do Dallas, and The Difference Between Me And You Is That I'm Not On Fire.

Great pics, Lisa!

Thanks! Luckily I found a tiny little rollergirl who was willing to get all up in our business to take pictures of us and the crowd! I can't wait to see the video (even though I'll be kind of self-conscious about it...god knows what dorky things i said/ways I danced over the course of the set.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Love the pics--and you are so totally cool and you have a great smile. Looks like a fabulous bunch of people cheering you on, too.

ION, I am going to see Squeeze and Fountains of Wayne tonight! Much bopping about will be engaged in.
