David, I say Cover #2 no hyphen if you really can't get them to budge on the point size.
I think it is totally unreasonable that they won't let you knock the size down to make it fit. In fact, I am all irritated about it. That is what designers DO. I'm sorry, but your branding BLOWS if it is not flexible enought to meet your needs.
