- Not on the air yet. Supposedly, they'll air over the summer.
- Yes, it is my TV debut!
- I heard a day or two ago that the charges against the Germs drummer had been dropped.
- Thank you all!
'Soul Purpose'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
ION, the drummer for The Germs has been arrested, for carrying soap:
Was is antibacterial soap?
Also, awesome TV debut, Jon!
"Sometimes I get friiiiiiiiiiies!" killed me.
Yes, this! Those were hysterical.
What they said
Was is antibacterial soap?
It was a bottle of Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap. For those who've never heard of Doc Bronner's, go get a bottle and check it out. It's weird and wacky, and also pretty darn good soap.
Jon, fantastic ad.
ION, I'm sure this is old news, but smonster turned me onto Albannach - a Scots tribal drumming band with a bagpiper, bass drum, and bodhran. They're bloody wonderful, and they have streaming audio 24/7.
I just watch the White Castle commercials! Congrats on your TV debut, Jon. Also, I have to concur that the "Sometimes I get fries...." is hysterical!
Hey, Jon, I dig your tv rock god commercial, too! Awesome.
Jon's commercials are awesome.

Ooooh! Thanks, j & smonster! That's great stuff. All this time, I was looking for a running soundtrack of drums and bagpipes and I never knew it.
YEE-OUCH!!!! Okay, except that I just got a bad track in the stream and it dumped a crapload of loud audio garbage at me. Which wouldn't be so bad, except that I'm wearing headphones (which is quickly becoming my prefered way to listen to things -- when you're forced to concentrate, you can pick up the most minute details).
Serial:
I just cherry picked a couple more Nick Drake songs off iTunes (thanks again, NPR).
Wow. Such a shame we can no longer get new output from this man. Wow.
