I gotta say, the Paramount show from the late nineties I linked to a while back is probably my favorite.
I saw Tom there in early '97, IIRC. Is that the show? If so, can you post the link again?
'Not Fade Away'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I think that's it. I don't know if I still have the link, but I can post it at BR if I don't. I'll check when I get home.
Hey! I was probably there! You should have looked for me.
Oh. Wait. You're THAT guy??!!
I loved the Paradise. They had great shows and it was right across the street from my house.
I know I've got a Doc Watson song about a Whistle Pig! 'course that's a groundhog not a pig pig.
Wasn't there a famous short story to the effect that "Pigs is pigs."?
I loved the Paradise.
Me too. I saw Los Lobos and The Replacements there in the early eighties ('83-'85).
Jon saw all the shows. We've already figured out all the ones we attended in common during my brief tenure in Boston.

That'd be cool. That was the most amazing live show I've ever seen. He had an awesome band for that show....
That sounds great!
I am an ignoramus, but I'll see if Hec can post the song for you.
I wonder if it's about the Pigtown that is a B'more neighborhood?
Probably not -- he's from New Jersey (and has a ridiculous/heartbreaking song about that, called, shockingly, "I'm From New Jersey"), and when you hear the lyrics (which unfortunately aren't available online) it's obvious that it is a literal Pigtown full of actual piggy pigs. But if there's a Pigtown in B'more, then that's a lovely bit of serendipity!
Okay, you know that Dancing Barefoot is up on b-rawk2, right?
I'll see if Hec can post the song for you.
Thanks, Nice Lady!
Here's the Tom Waits on VH-1's Storytellers show (which has never been officially released)
