Buffy ,'Same Time, Same Place'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I do own a keytar!
I do own a keytar!
Of course you do...
I wasn't sure a keytar was what I thought it was. Not only is it, but the google image search on keytar is like the funniest thing I've seen today. [link]
Nice review of Kim's NMH book and a short interview with her.
I never knew the name for them, but I associate keytars with funk bands.
And you'd think a melodica would be called a farfisa simply because "farfisa" has more wind in the name.

I used to have one of those red ones, but I gave it to a bandmate as a birthday present a few years ago.
eMusic has SST records now!!
I just downloaded a bunch of Minutemen and Descendants tracks. Milo Aukerman is my role model.
(For this, I crack out an old .sig file, from an Option (of blessed memory) interview: "Don't ever confuse a Ph.D. with intelligence. I have zero street smarts. No common sense." --Milo Aukerman)
I was very excited to see Saccharine Trust on eMusic (St. Vitus, not so much). But where's Universal Congress Of?
